intent in creating this site was to combine information from my career as a mainframe-computer-programmer with relevant resources related to programming currently found in other places on the internet. I hope that the result is a unique creation that may benefit others seeking to satisfy their curiosity about programming related to Mainframes Computer.
This website is my little effort to show respect and gratitude, in my own manner, to the Titans of Our Industry - I met, in person or online, over the years.
Over the years the mission has been to share and grow the world’s knowledge about mainframes. Having spent some years in to the industry, we understand that to a great extent the mainframe knowledge is currently only available to a few, either locked in people’s heads or only accessible to select groups. We want to connect the people who have knowledge to the people who need it. And we believe, if we are successful in doing so, the impact of this will be multi fold - as this way, people can understand each other better without much bias and this will empower everyone to share their knowledge for the benefit of many of us.
