For KSDS VSAM tuning, what are the factors I should start with. Are there some straight rules for some of the tunings or we have to every job by job? Please share your experience in this regard.

I've at least two differnt meaning of ASP. At one place ASP is used as, Asymmetric Multiprocessing System and at another place as, Attached Support Processor. It is confusing and I am not sure which one is correct. Do you have a better idea?
