Hi,

Is there any way in file-aid to know the length of the copybook? Any help is appreciated.

First, your question is imprecise since you did not tell us if you want to know how many lines are in the copybook, or the length of the data structure described by the copybook, or something else.

The number of lines can be found by doing a TSO/ISPF edit or browse or view of the copybook member and scrolling to the end.

The length of the data structure can be found by compiling a program with the copybook and looking at the data map generated by the compile. File Aid and similar tools can also give you the length of the data structure.

This is what I'm asking. Using file-aid can we get that?

Yes, File Aid can tell you the length of the data structure. Using interactive (online) File Aid, use the View option to select the copy book and file to view with that copy book; the length of each group (including the copy book) is given on the screen.
