Using VSAM in IMS DB.

Hi,

I have used GSAM once in an IMS DB program. And this is mostly used. But can we use a VSAM or Sequential Files in IMS DC or DB program? I failed to find a good explanation about it or a document about it. If we can do this, could anybody explain this in detail.

GSAM is rarely used as a database format - IMS databases are usually VSAM. However, if that is not what you mean then you should a) ask your colleagues, b) ask your DBA.
