Hi,
How to know if I have the EDIT access to a PDS? Is there a way to know it?

The first way would be to ask your site security administrator.
The second way would be to attempt to edit it and if you get an ICH408I error message, then you will know you do NOT have access to it. Of course, you may be asked to explain why you had a failed access attempt against the data set.

Re: How to know if I have the EDIT access to a PDS?
Thanks. Actually I have joined a company where we have access to some of the load modules. It is like a "client company" setup in India. So the vendors keep on sending the emails to remove some modules from some PDS which they don't have access but we have. These details are not given to us in knowledge transfer so was trying to understand if we can identify if I have a edit access for a PDS or not. But thinking about security concern as you said did not try it much.
Thanks,
Anil
