Hello,
Is it PL/I or PL/1? When I am seaching I find the details about both and people seem to use both. So are they same or different? Can you please tell me?

The original language specification, 50+ years ago, was PL/I (Programming Language 1 -- the Roman I represented the one) although the language did not start with that name. However, it is seen both ways these days and PL/1 means PL/I. The IBM documentation will use PL/I since that is the official name.
