Get Job Information in COBOL program.
Hi, I would like to know if there is any way in COBOL to retrieve batch Job information while the Job is still running. I would like fetch the Job name, Job number and the user ID who submitted a particular batch job. Can we do this in COBOL, please give your suggestions.

Search the forum and other forums because such a question was asked not so long ago - and over the years. Yes, you can gegt current job info but whether you can get all that YOU want I do not know. BTW - you need assembler routines.

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort
