What are "local page datasets" in mainframe? Can you please suggest when do we need them?

When I tell somebody to RTFM or STFW I usually have the page open in another tab/window of my browser,
so that I am sure that the information requested can be reached with a very small effort

Aseem - all you needed to do was provide the link. Anyone interested can use it and you would not have to post screenfuls of text that is already available.
