How to disable an IMS transaction.

Hi,
Is there anyway we can disable IMS transactions other than using commands /STOP or /LOCK?
When I used /STOP and /LOCK, and I try to pull the same program/transactions which I stopped, using /FOR, I am getting the screen. I don't want the user to go to the screen to know that he/she entered into a stopped/locked transaction. Instead of that, I wanted the system to display a message that this particular transaction is locked/stopped. How can we do that?
