I did not ask it anywehre.
Hi,
I have not posted the question anywhere How to disable an IMS transaction. apart from this board. If there is a same question on some other board as the reply says, can you direct me to that?

Not very different from this
posted by "mvsmlk". You will have to search for that mainframe forum as we cannot post links to rival forums.Hello all,
How do you block or lock selected IMS TP programs from all users so that when they are invoked, they receive a message to the effect that they are not allowed to invoke the screen and the user’s screen does NOT lock up?
We do not want to encounter the situation where the /FOR tran command can be successfully issued, and that format screen is returned to the user. We also do not want a transaction to be queued on the message queue.
We have already tried /STO and /LOCK commands, and these do not seem to be the solution for us. When the format is invoked, a message is placed on the message queue and the user’s screen hangs until the transaction is /STArted or /UNLOCKed.

But it is the same question and it is not a common question, I do not rwcall it being asked in the last 9 years, so it is (probably) from your company so I suggest you talk to each other.

Hi nicc,
It was not me and I could not come to know if someone from my team has asked it. But as a moderator I shall respect your decision.

Hi Agni DA,
That's a nice sentiment which I don't see around quite often these days. Appreciate your words!

This was the last suggestion on that topic:
All other suggsetions were to go to your DBA and/or security group.Look up /SECURE command and see if you can use it.
