Hi,

What is the use of learning REXX apart from it helps out to automate some of the tasks? Is there some real good use of this language in mainfames?

Automation of many tasks at many levels.

Quickly write programs for investigating problems/producing one-off reports/tools.

99% (or more) of my programming at home is done using rexx.
