Hi,.

It might be an easy question but sometime it bugs us badly and really want to know the ways to kill my TSO session. It usually happens that one of us with in our team will lost network connection and when we try to reconnect to TSO session it ends up in "user already in use". And the only way left out is to somehow kill the session or wait for it get killed its own. Is there some way way out to get it done?

There are a couple of ways to do what you want.

First, on the TSO/E LOGON parameters screen near the bottom is a field labeled -Reconnect. Putting an S before that field will cause the TSO session to reconnect if it was dropped (it has no impact if the TSO user was not signed on). Of course, after you've entered your password and hit the enter key (or if you don't see this screen at all), knowing about Reconnect won't help you.

Or, you can find someone with console authority and have them issue the console command C U=<userid> to cancel the user id (this will lose any unsaved data, so beware).
