Mainframe, MVS and zOS Discussion

I was talking to one of my known, working on Mainframes, and he told me that he was looking for 'something' on google and this site turned up. He could not recall what he was looking for but the site was helpful...

It made me to think that Great you found us! Hopefully you are glad to have found us. I should be more direct and ask - how did you find us, if one can share how did they find us - it'll help us to understand what is working well for the site promotions and what not! What more topics and subjects can be added to make this more educational and a friendly place to discuss. Please post here where you found our link. You can post links to the forum or place you found out about us from or give the members name of a person that referred you here. It helps us find out what ways of advertising works best. Looking forward to listen some interesting replies ... .

Google, while searching for ISPF Tips.

Your site was coming as the first link on google until some days for ISPF Tips but now it does not - what happened?

The algorithm google uses to search the content over the internet, for your search, changes quite often and it is said that's it's not quite known that what's the algorithm is all about. For example, it depends on how many "back-links" do you have, how much content do you have and ... and other day, perhaps, it's other way round. Said that, the rank in google for a site keeps on changing and so the sites which appear in the searches.

Said all that, we're committed to pop up as first link for your searches related to mainframe, going forward.

And one more thing - Thanks for telling us that we had been favorite of google for some time!

We again appear as the first link in google search for ISPF Tips:
Similar results are for IMS DB/DC Tips. Though I'm not sure, when you check it again you'll get it listed as the first link on google!
