Hi,

Could some one please explain what is/are differences between a Linux (e.g. redhat enterprise linux) and zLinux? Does any java application which run on linux will run on zLinux?

Linux on system z is pretty much standard Linux and programs that run under Linux will typically run under Linux on system z. Red Hat and SUSE have Linux on system z support, but other distributions are also available. Java applications should run the same.
