Various ways to solve S0C7.

Can any one please help me to know various methods to solve a SOC7 in mainframe ... I got this question in an interview ..I gave the answer ..like we track the line number using offset then we put a display ..but he again put some complicated scenarios and I got confused

Why not search for S0C7 on the forum and the internet and come up with a list?
Real programmers (not me) read the dump and determine from there what needs to be done.

Thanks. But when this question is asked in interviews it always creates a problem and the interviewer never looks satisfied. I shall go through those links.
