Programs using TDQ.

Hi,

If I know the TDQ name then how can I find that which programs are using that TDQ? Apart from searching the TDQ name in the source code lib is there any other way? Please let me know.

I think you can only search the TDQ name using ISPF search in your programs. I think there is no other way.

THis is a good question, even CEMT INQUIRE TDQUEUE does not list the programs using it:

I have not checked the manual to be sure it is there, but if the information you want is anywhere, it will be in the SMF records. CICS writes record type 110 SMF records but interpreting and translating these records can require significant effort (they are usually written in a compressed format and must be expanded before you can access the data). I know the TD Queue name can be located in the 110 SMF record, but I'm not sure if that record is tied to a particular program or not.

Thanks Robert. I am using ISPF 3.4 but I was thinking that CEMT will definitely have an option to tell the program. But I am not sure if I could not find this in the manual or CEMT actually does not give information about the program using by TDQ.

I would not expect CEMT to have any tie between TDQ name and program name.
