Description of SQL error.

Hi,

If any SQL error occured during run of any batch program, where can we check complete message for that SQL code. What I am asking is that is there a place in logs where it will give position of column where problem is, is there any variable which stores such message?

Can we save a dataset in View mode?

Hello,

If I've made some changes in a dataset while it was opened in View mode using ISPF 3.4, is it possible to save it now. I don't want to loose the chanegs I made.

I used copy with IEBGENER but I got the following messages in spool. Why is SYNCSORT is being invoked?

If input is (rec. length = 80). How to delete all blank records in a file?
