Hi,
For a requirement I need to Change the edited COBOL filed to numeric field. Like, the field is like $123,456,789. This field needs to be used in computation, how can I do that?

Re: Issue a Print from a CICS program.
Hi Robert,
"issue a print" means printing a document. "Local mainframe printer" means a printer which is used for our company and not at the customer place. I think it is standalone.
Thanks for the document but it's too big to understand it all...

Issue a Print from a CICS program.
Hi,
Could you please advise if we can issue a print to a local Mainframe printer by a CICS program? Is there some special procedure to do that and do I need to define the printer to CICS region?

Re: Remove Global break-point in InterTest.
Yes it has the access to the manuals but we are third party vendors and the access to these manuals is not easily available. I am new in this company, they keep on sending the emails to the support saying the who kept the global breakpoint, which looks idiotic. I am trying to find the manuals if I g...

Remove Global break-point in InterTest.
Hi,
Does any one here know that how can we remove Global break-point in InterTest and how can we know who has put the breakpoint? Please help, this is very irritating when your program goes to someone else's breakpoint.

System Performance and PERFORM in JOBCLASS.
Hi, I'd like to know what is the functionality of parameter PERFORM in the JOBCLASS? I've refered some books, which specifies that PERFORM determines the rate of programs being executed for accessing the system resources and the values given to these parameter is 0 to 999. The question is - will it ...

Thanks Anuj. File-aid helped. Apart from this, there is no other way around then?

How can we compare two IAM files? I tried with SuperCE , it says Open Error. Is there any other utility to compare?
