Password for a CICS screen.

In CICS, while desigining a map, can we make password appear in dots or cross form instead of giving dark attribute? Please guide.

If you mean you want to type a character and have a dot or cross (or whatever) appear on the screen, then the answer is no this cannot be done. A 3270 screen is NOT a character-oriented display and all the data on the screen is passed to the mainframe when AND ONLY WHEN certain keys (such as the ENTER or PF or PA key) are hit.
