Hi,

If you are hired and have to see if the CICS region is up or down, how would you do it on a new job?

I replied that we have a job for our CICS region if the job is running that means the region is up else it is not. Interviewer said there can be more way to know, elaborate. I don't know any other anser to this question. Can anyone of you please help me?

You can just try to login in that CICS region to check if its up or not

Try to get a look at the CICS systems team. If they are running about like blue-arsed flies, then something is wrong.
