Interviewer asked, I have a job with GDG files. Job has 5 generations of GDG files. If job abends at some step then when i restart the job what precaution measures need to be taken, in general.

I could not answer the question, can someone please guide.

With GDGs, you need to check what GDG generation has been created until the last successful step execution. On restart, the relative (0, +1, +2 etc) would change according to that. Unless there is/are more tweaks in the question, this should suffice.
