Hi Everyone, Does anyone know how to removes spaces in file using sort. I have a file which record length is 2000. I need to trim all the areas which has spaces in the file. I have told that we can do it without sort also, and there is a requirement to do it with out sort, so I've asked. I was not aware about it before.

I also answered the same in the interview, but I said that if it's the first step, why do you want to check it with COND, as a first step it should just get executed else make it some other step. Is there anyway to retrieve a deleted VSAM file. I opened the file on Friday..but today when I checked for the file , it's not found..any way to retrieve it..tried HRECALL didn't work..any other way to retrieve the file
