Non Functional requirements?

Post by Neeraj Mehta »

Hi,

I just read about Non Functional requirement's concept and trying to relate it to my work. I am not sure to find a way for it tough. I work on a COBOL program and this program is a report writing program. Now what can be the non functional requirements for it?

Depends what 'functional requirements' mean in this case. If they are to take this data and produces that report in such-and-such format then non-functional requirements could be coding style, efficient execution, meaningful variable names etc.
