Could some please give me an idea on how to create a syslog message from CICS/batch? This will great help.

What do you mean by "CICS/batch"? A program usually runs under CICS or in batch -- so "CICS/batch" is not easily identifiable.
And it is generally a BAD idea to write to the system log -- unless your application has specific requirements to do so. Talk to your site support group.
