Unless it's a trick question, SyncSort refers to the product developed by Syncsort Inc. (now part of Precisely Holdings, LLC). On the other hand, 'SORT' can refer to specific software like SyncSort, IBM's DFSort, or CA-Sort, depending on the context. It can also simply be a term in English, based on how it's used.
