Hi,
What is Mainframe Architecture? Is it client-server architecture? If not, could you please explain me under what category it comes? And where I read more about it?

I'm not sure what architecture it might fall in to but it is not client-server for sure.

The answer to your question partly depends upon what you want to find out. There is information on z/Architecture on the Internet -- Google z/architecture for details. Broadly speaking, the mainframe is a centralized processing system that uses distributed I/O mechanisms.

While you read about the zArchitecture, you might also be interested to see z/Architecture Principles of Operation.
