Two levels of aunthentication in SFTP.

Post by Shwetang »

Hi,

Is it possible to have two level of authentication in SFTP? We have seen only one level of authentication where in a dataset can have the ID/password in it and from there the information can be supplied to the FTP. However now client has asked for two level of authentication and we're not sure how to go about it?

Have you asked the client to explain what they are wanting with the two levels of authentication? If not, you need to start there since otherwise your could implement a solution that turns out to be NOT what the client wanted, wasting your time and requiring yet another round of change.
