When LE enabling an HLASM containing an ABEND macro (e.g. "ABEND 3500") there will still be a system abend produced. There is a possibility to change the ABEND macro into a call to LE callable service CEE3ABD but unfortunately there is no way to via the call suppress the abend.
There is a possibility to use the parameter TERMTHDACT to finetune the behaviour but that woul affect all possible (unplanned) abends not just this one.
So, the question is: Is there a way to do an old-fashioned user ABEND with no dump when running in LE?
User abend under LE with no dump

Hi lbjerges and welcome to the Forum...
As you talked about TERMTHDACT - should not the value "3" be of help to you as described here: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocente ... ee3abd.htm
