Question about CPU Time consumption?

Hi,

In the following activities, is there any CPU time consumed:
  • When we log in to Mainframes?
  • When we log in to Mainframes and remains idle?
  • For Browsing any file?

There is CPU time used for all these activities. The CPU usage is not large but is not zero. Logging on, for example, requires verifying that the user id exists and is not expired, and validate the password, and execute the logon procedure to allocate the initial files and so forth.
